Midwest Composers Symposium 1998 – University of Iowa

Chemical Angels, for tape and piano, was selected for performance at the Midwest Composers Symposium 1998, hosted by the Center for New Music at the University of Iowa. The work was performed by pianist Gabriela Lena Frank.

The official symposium programme includes a composer biography outlining my academic background and compositional activity at the time, documenting my studies at the Eastman School of Music and the University of Michigan, where I was pursuing doctoral studies in composition.
